Cinder and Smoke tour
I’ve gotten some pretty decent tour advice so far, I’m hoping this leads into some good suggestions for an itinerary

It’s funny you posted this; about 5 or 6 years ago, myself and a few friends formed a band that was ultimately a satire of generic hardcore bands. We lost drive when people starting thinking we were trying to sound like horse the band.

I’m coming to the conclusion that the main key to writing this kind of music is just to riff on chords and progressions from The Artist in the Ambulance era Thrice songs and then chunk it up a bit more, add some more dissonance

The cooks I work with really like jam music…two of them were talking about trying to go see Widespread Panic and they were talking about driving some four hours or more to see them. It’s pretty good and I’m looking forward to the album…the cover kind of sucks though, pretty bland
I will probably do all of my papers this way
I think I can say that this is one of my better papers of similar length
I have an hour and a half
to write a three page paper
I have one page of notes on the article, I just need to stretch that into two pages(easy) then write a page about how it relates to my major and my future career(also easy)
however, I did not read all of the ten page article we were also supposed to go over today, but oh well, I’ve read enough of it that I can wing the discussion.

….urr…I hope this isn’t like the new “Get Up Kids”, but then again, Bob Nanna has consistently put out good work since Braid broke up, so….I feel a little better about
I’ve thought about it before and mentioned it to Justin but I wonder what Cinder & Smoke would sound like with an extra guitar, I could be all Josh Moore and only play sometimes, just to add some clean harmonies.
My amp can get very loud and I’m really enjoying the way it sounds with some overdrive and mild reverb
